Dr. Christina Leone's practice facility sits on a
1.174 acre tract of land at the corner of McEver Rd. and Mountain
View Rd. in Hall County, Georgia.
The principle use of the structure is to examine
and treat companion animals. The facility is a one story wood frame
building measuring 4,200 square feet.
This particular client wanted a professional look
and feel to the building exterior. The design began with the high
volume asymmetrical lobby. The front desk attendant has full visual
control over the entire waiting area.
This
hospital offers four exam rooms to keep wait time to a minimum. The
treatment room incorporates two island tables, recovery cages,
sugery prep, scrub and radiology.
The double surgery room is surrounded by glass for
easy visual communication when needed. The boarding areas include a
separate cat-condo room with natural lighting, as well as a small
dog room and large animal runs also with natural lighting.
The facility includes a breakroom for the staff, a
large office for the DVM and a full time groomer. This project
started with a detailed site analysis for the Owner. Planning
Commission approval was then obtained followed by complete
construction management. This is typical of our service.
