Professional Experience
Mr. Hill has over 21 years of diversified
experience in programming, design, document preparation, and
construction administration.
As President of HDA, Mr. Hill participates in
all phases of the firm's projects. This includes presentations,
program development, production of schematic design, design
development and construction documents as well as coordination of
consultants and plan distribution for bidding. Mr. Hill has
extensive experience in administering construction contracts from
pre-construction to closing documents and post occupancy. He
personally handles all projects varying in size from $200,000 to $27
million and is ultimately responsible for all work produced at HDA.
Mr. Hill’s extensive experience with animal care design and thorough
understanding of this unique building type, has made him a sought
after speaker on the subject.
Mr. Hill plays a key role in implementing
quality assurance measures at HDA, including program analysis, plan
review, establishing and maintaining production schedules as well as
coordinating site visits and observing construction for contract
compliance.

Professionally, Mr. Hill has conducted seminars at the Georgia
Convention of the American Institute of Architects, and he conducts
a half dozen lectures annually on the design process. Mr. Hill most
recently lectured at the 2005 SEVC, 2004 SEVC, and the 2002 and 2003
North American Veterinary Conferences. In 2006, Mr. Hill has been
booked to lecture at IVECCS, NCVMA Annual Conference, SEVC & First
Flight Veterinary Conference.
