Sterling Development and HDA Architects began the process of designing a plaza style apartment project on 14th Street in Midtown Atlanta. This 30 million project falls within the fire district and was subject to a myriad of City codes and ordinances. HDA and Sterling worked together with the City officials to maximize the full use of the owned property. This project had numerous complexities and challenges. We worked with a large team of consultants and designers, which we coordinated with to maintain an aggressive schedule.

The Concept for this project is an Italian Villa which produced multiple buildings enclosing an open plaza for fountains and social gatherings. The unit designs include lofts, efficiencies, one- and two-bedroom units in roommate and family layouts. The structure comprises two levels of parking and five levels of apartments. The two-story leasing office provides street access for visitors while maintaining complete security for the residents.
