Animal Emergency Care of Braselton (AECOB)

Madison, Alabama

Project Description: In February 2021, the leadership team at Animal Emergency Care of Braselton (AECOB) initiated plans for a major expansion. As their patient base increased, it became clear that their existing facilities were no longer sufficient to meet the demand.

To address this, AECOB began the construction of a new, state-of-the-art emergency hospital designed to provide comprehensive and specialized care for critical animal cases.

This new facility, totaling 10,000 square feet, is split into two distinct components.

The first is a 5,000 square foot emergency hospital, which houses cutting-edge treatment areas, advanced diagnostic technology, surgery suites, and recovery zones. The second component is a 5,000 square foot shell space, designed to accommodate future expansion.

This flexibility ensures that AECOB can seamlessly grow its services in the years to come, responding to the evolving needs of the community without disruption. The emergency hospital itself was designed to streamline operations and create a welcoming, efficient environment for both the medical staff and the pet owners in crisis.

Each aspect of the facility, from the flow of patient intake to the design of the surgery rooms, has been meticulously planned to support AECOB’s mission of providing life-saving care. This expansion represents a significant milestone for AECOB as they continue to build on their reputation for excellence in emergency veterinary care, offering top-tier medical services in a facility designed for the future.
