HDA History
HDA Architects, Inc. is a family of like-minded professionals passionate about the practice of Architecture and the efficient and cost-effective delivery of animal health care. Founded in1998 and headquartered in Rome, Georgia, with a satellite office in Dawsonville, Georgia, we bring an unmatched depth of experience to every project. With over 500 completed animal health projects nationwide, including humane societies, boarding facilities, and veterinary hospitals, we bring expertise, leadership, and vision to every project. Our practice focuses on the creation of safe, humane, sustainable environments that support the needs of animals, staff, and the communities they serve. We understand that today’s animal shelters and care facilities are public-facing centers of education, adoption, and community engagement. We design with this philosophy at the forefront, crafting environments that foster wellness, operational efficiency, and public trust.
HDA Architects initially supplemented its animal health design work by designing various building types from dental offices to multifamily housing, as well as by working with municipalities across the Southeast. Our faithful dedication to excellence has earned us long-standing relationships with more than 100 cities, counties, and public agencies, in addition to our private clients nationwide. We take great pride in consistently delivering outstanding work, regardless of a project’s size or complexity. Notably, HDA Architects has never defaulted, or failed to complete a project.
